Reality-On-The-Norm/Alternate Reality: Note to Self

A game by helios123

Thanks for taking time to play my second RON game. This document provides information about the story, gameplay and other related things.

Story:

The year is 2199.

The inhabitants of Reality Station are paid a visit by a traveller from distant worlds. The traveller speaks of events leading to great destruction in the near future.

And the only person who can do anything about it happens to be Elandra...

Though it is not necessary, it is recommended to play the following RON games before playing this one, as the story line has references to the events from these games.
All these games are available on the Reality-On-The-Norm website.

Gameplay:

The user interface is similar to the other point and click RON games.
The PDA icon (next to the inventory icon in the lower left corner) will display the PDA. The PDA will display information about various topics during the game.
Different keyboard/mouse shortcuts and other help information can be viewed by pressing the F1 key while the game is running. The icon bar containing the different icons can be accessed by moving the mouse to the top of the screen.

Run winsetup.exe to adjust display settings, driver selection, etc.
Note: The Direct3D 9 driver is selected by default. If you get the error message "Graphics card does not support Pixel Shader 1.4" on startup, this indicates that your graphics card is too old to run with the Direct3D driver. You should choose the DirectDraw driver instead.

Hints & Tips:

The game should be easy to finish, as there are not many puzzles to solve.

If you happen to get stuck anywhere please post a message in the RON forum.
